This was the reason I went to Hampton Court….The Wild, The Beautiful and The Damned. It’s a fairly large exhibition set within “The Queen’s Apartments”, and mostly consists of portraits of Stuart courtiers, including some of The Windsor Beauties. Artists represented include Sir Peter Lely, Godfrey Kneller and William Wessing. There are also some small clothing items and accessories.
